The Last Days of Summer
This is one of my favorite secret spots. I love the rich greens and textures. If we have some warm afternoons we might be able to sneak in a few more summer-like sessions!
Time for Summer-Look senior portraits is running out!
Fall winds are blowing and the leaves are preparing to change. I think we have about two weeks left to get portraits with a summer feel done. The best time is in the late afternoon when the light is soft and warm. Here are a pair one of my latest creations done at an awesome private river property.
Emma's Senior Portrait Session
Our goal in this session was to express the many artistic facets of the senior's personality. She loves singing, theatre and dance. We created some special photographs with her dog too!
This is a group of siblings that I have photographed since they were very small. The oldest was about 4 feet tall when I first made their portraits. Now he is 6' 4"! This is a great example of the fantastic afternoon light that I have in my studio portrait garden near the tall beach grasses of my sand dune. The late afternoon sun beams in from the west, illuminating the subjects' hair and provides a golden glow. The open sky to the front paints the faces with light in a perfect portrait lighting pattern. September is a great month for outdoor portraits that have that golden summer glow!
Hendley's session
I had lots of fun photographing Hendley! We did portraits by the windows and outdoors in the studio garden. We don't charge for different outfit changes or by the pose which was good for Hendley because she had a ton of outfits! We want everyone to have a relaxed, fun session and we will create as many different looks for you as possible.
Still time for Senior Portraits!!
Fall is a great time for High School Senior Portraits. I love to create images in several really pretty locations near my studio in Midlothian. There is even a lake right around the corner! Senior portraits are all about you and if you enjoy fall colors, cozy sweaters, jeans, and the beautiful light of an autumn afternoon now it the time to call to reserve your photography session.
